General meeting: First Saturday of every month at 10 am on Zoom. Short business meeting followed by a guest speaker or readings by our members.

Long writers: Second Saturday of every month. 10 a.m. – noon, via Zoom only. This is a small, in-depth critique group for members who are writing longer prose works (or a collection of short works), either fiction or non-fiction. Members of this group share their work in advance and offer suggestions to each other.
Poetry pod: Second Friday of every month, 10 am, via Zoom. For writers who enjoy creating or listening to poetry. Our Poetry Pod group is a chapter within the Florida State Poets Association,
Readers Workshop guidelines
Members may read from their work for up to five minutes
- Five-minute limit includes introductory comments
- Readings are timed
- Please practice and time yourself at home
Critique by other members (optional)
- Critique is of writing technique rather than content
- Specify area(s) of critique desired (optional)
- Organization, clarity, and expression
- Point of view, dialog, and setting
- Character development
- Syntax and word choice
- Spelling, grammar, punctuation
