Who we are
Suncoast Writers Guild, Inc., a 501 (c) (7) based in Englewood, Florida, provides a supportive community for writers of all genres and levels. Founded in 1990, we have a long tradition of exchanging ideas about writing as well as constructive feedback. Our members learn from one another and from guest speakers. We hold five monthly meetings. On the first Saturday of every month, we have a business meeting, followed by a program with a guest speaker. On the second and fourth Friday, we hold Poetry Pod meetings. Our Long Writers group meets on the second Saturday. On the third Saturday of each month, we meet for a Readers Workshop.
